Task8- proposal

 The main concept for my magazine is to attract the audience and inspire the younger generation to dress as bold or as little as they wish. This also reinforces the idea of self-love, confidence and being yourself. The main theme and genre of my magazine is trending fashion and beauty. I’am certain that this theme will attract my target audience as the younger generation will understand and be the most familiar with the most recent fashion trends in today’s society. The concept of my magazine will fit into the core values of the institution Iam working for as Hearst magazines (the company Iam working for) specialise in fashion and beauty photography and magazines therefore I believe they will be interested. As well as the fashion and beauty genre of my magazine fitting the brief of a lifestyle magazine. I believe the mise-en-scene I use within my magazine will appear modernised by using a sans serif font as well as younger models to match the young target audience. I believe my magazine will create new meaning by becoming an issue the audience will have never seen before therefore the front cover will appeal as fresh for the audience. The representations of the mise-en-scene will focus on gender equality due to both male and female models being included. This will attract the target audience as the younger generation are common activists and have grown to have strong views and opinions in a political or social change.
